Children aged 3 - 7 years enjoy a variety of fun activities, interactive Bible stories, puppets, craft and theme related play. 
 
Children are placed into small groups during sessions to look further at the Bible story, pray and share in a way suited to their age group.

 A Sunday group for children aged 3 - 7 years
 
 Climbers meet in the small hall during the 10.30am morning service
 

 Activities include:

 

  • Welcoming 'icebreakers'
  • Creative Bible storytelling
  • Craft
  • Theme related play
  • Small group Bible talks
  • Praying and sharing
 
 Registration takes place in the cafe area from 10.15am. Parents will be issued with a 'Registered Child Card' for safekeeping and for return when collecting their child at 12.00pm.
 
 Families then move into the church where an Altogether Time at the start of the service sets the scene for the children's groups.
 
 Parents are encouraged to sit near the front of the church with their children during the Altogether Time before accompanying them to their group.

 

Children are the responsibility of their parents/carers before going into their groups and after collection from them. Please ensure they are kept safe whilst on the premises by supervising them before and after sessions.

Series Aims

The teaching this term looks at the Baptism of Jesus and then Paul's letter to the early Christian Community about belonging, being valued and loving in a distinctly Christian way. The session will aim to:

  • Remind us of the central importance of the resurrection to our faith
  • Help us to work out the practical implications of being a Christian
  • Invite us to explore the mystery of what happens to us when we die

Sunday Serving!

Sunday ServingOnce a month when there isn’t an All Age Service, our Explorers, and Pathfinders will join with our adult congregation and serve alongside them. Climbers will run as normal. There are many opportunities for our young people to serve and use their gifts and talents as part of our church family. Please contact Jo Gavin for further information.

 

Get Connected, Get Creative - A fun-filled morning with different  creative worships learning about made in the image of God! For all church primary children - reception to year 6 inclusive. Saturday 23rd February 2019. From 10 am to 12 noon. At Jubilee Church 157 Southlands Road, Bromley BR2 9QZ. Cost £3.50 per child - Cheques made payable to Churches together in Orpington or cash. Booking forms available shortly 

 

BackPackers Holiday Club 2019

Provisional dates:

Opening Service 21st July,

Club dates – 24th July – 26th July

At Backpackers children will travel with Jesus as he arrives in Jerusalem and explore the events of his last week on earth – helping them to understand his journey to death and his glorious resurrection. Please do consider helping, it’s great fun and very rewarding!
