Dear Christ Church,

This Sunday

This Sunday is Holy Communion. It's both a great privilege and joy to gather around the Lord's table as the people of God.

A song that has been chosen for our offertory hymn (the hymn before Holy Communion) is by Matt Redman. It's called: "O how could it be (Remembrance)" Although the music group have sung it at Christ Church, it may be unfamiliar to some of you.

I've found a Youtube track of it. If you would like to listen to the sung and familiarise yourself with it prior to the service, you can do so; just click on the link below. I hope that we will also play it through at the beginning of the service.

Elevate Dance Performance

CCO has a long standing partnership with Springs Dance Company (Europe's foremost Christian dance company) and each year students from their apprenticeship scheme spend time with us on placement. Today marks the end of their 3 month world tour and they will perform for the last time with us, joined by many of their family and friends.

Their performances are always both uplifting & reflective and offer a way to discover more about God and humanity. This is warmly recommended to you as a local opportunity to spend a relaxing evening watching a high quality performance that will feed your soul!

Tickets prices, which includes a glass of wine/soft drink are available on the door, and are priced as follows:

£4.00 Adults
£2.00 Children
£10 Family

The performance starts at 7.30pm today.

Ceramic Flower Update

Thank you for all your hard work and creativity on 14th June when we made the

ceramic flowers for the 'cross remembrance piece'.  They have now been joined by

more made by Community Club and we have at least two hundred beautiful, unique

pieces. They have now dried and will be fired.

We look forward to glazing them soon ready for their second firing so the piece can

        then be installed.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday as we break bread together and continue our sermon series: "Evangelism Naturally"!

In His service,
